Tysfjord - Norway
a landscape from Tysfjord in northern Norway, up in the Arctic Circle
(with a passing nod to NASA's Mars Rover)

this boat, along the water's edge by our jetty, became something of a motif as the tides came in and out

as in much of the world, there has been unseasonably warm weather here this year...

...but on a late night walk, I caught some fresh snow

impromptu snowman left at a bus stop

we were also lucky to catch a glimpse of the northern lights (aurora borealis)
with only two hours of sunlight a day, the full moon allowed us to enjoy the amazing landscapes
I'd love to return with more time one spring to explore?
