Objective : To contribute in human resource development and institution building with emphasis on scientific training on the Convention on Biological Diversity.

Beneficiaries : Young African scientists and park staff

Result : Increased scientific knowledge and capacity on forest conservation and management

Activities : Provide training in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda for young African scientists. Recruit 108 young scientists through open competition each year. Provide professional development to 66 young scientists, park staff and NGO workers.
