| This is a longterm, supra regional project which aims at research on, development and dissemination of agro forestry production systems. Major objective of the present phase is to take research findings in respect of sustainable and competitve production systems to the agricultural producers. For successful dissmination of the findings the project cooperates with institutions in Central America interested in adopting agro forestry know how. Moreover, CATIE (Centro Agronómico Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza) as counterpart institution is being supported in its activities through continued support of selected trial areas, through participation in training courses and through coaching of students. |
