| This is a cooperation project between KFW and GTZ. Project aim is the rehabilitation and sustainable ecological management of 7 government forests in the Eastern Region and the conservation of the Tai National Park in close cooperation with the local population. Due to the results of the project evaluation mission in 10/96 it was decided to split the existing project into 2 separate components: On the one hand the management of government forests and on the other hand improvement and conservation of the Tai National Park in cooperation with the local population. Both projects will be supported by a coordinator. |
