| This is the follow-up project of the "Forest Programme Ecuador". Main objectives of the present phase are advisory services provided in the fields of agroforestry, forestry and nature conservation in Sucumbios Province. The project evaluation has been in part very critical as it showed that counterpart contributions were insufficient as well as the project design was questionable. Nevertheless, the BMZ has agreed to support the project for another 2,5 years as from 03/97 in order to consolidate project effects with no additional means made available. |
