| This is a cooperation project between GTZ, KfW and DED. Main aim of the project is, to maintain sustainability and productivity of forests and arable land in selected areas of the Volta region applying a participatory approach. Major objectives are: protection and sustainable use of forests through participation of the local population (management plans), widespread introduction of improved and sustainable agricultural production systems, income generation, establishment and management of private and communal wood plantations. |
