| Main objectives of the project were: rendering of advisory services in the fields of improving professional and managerial skills of the government forestry department on national and regional level, taking over of running costs, and improvement of the forestry equipment of the central government body as well as of the four district forest offices, training of personell, drawing up and implementation of forest management plans for selected government forests as well as cooperation in designing a national tropical forestry action plan. The project is terminated. |
