| The project, planned for a 10 years' period upto 2005, supports target groups and government bodies in the sustainable management of natural resources in the Nam Gum wateshed area. Major elements are: participatory land use planning, institutional capacity building, family planning and support of national institutions in the development of a strategy for the management of watershed areas and the implementation of a land allocation programme. From the second project phase onwards the project will be managed by a consultancy firm. |
