| The financial/technical cooperation project aims at preservation of the highly degraded and diminishing forests of the Siran and Khagan valleys. During phase II (07/97 -06/01) the project promotes sustainable land use and participatory forest management within the Government's Forest Department and on communal level.This includes a process of forest sector reform in the North-West Border Province. |
