| Major objectives of the programme are:- reduction of destruction of natural resources used by Tanzanian villages in the vincinity of refugee camps through elaboration and implementation of stratified rehabilitation programmes according to damage zones; - elaboration of forestry emergency plans for the Kagera Region as preventive planning measure for increasing streams of refugees; - implementation of fuel reducing technologies and - coordination of project activities with other donors and local authorities. |
