The goal of the project is to increase the capacity of Cameroon (its government and people) to regenerate and manage its high forests by demonstrating contrasting silvicultural techniques and providing in-service technical training. The immediate objectives of the project are: the assessment of the continuing validity of project objectives and the progress made against these revision of the project framework to incorporate the in-service training strategy and the new extension component, and to reflect any other agreed changes required to achieve project objectives.
