Project Objectives:
The purpose of the project is to continue the programme of Tree Crop Diversification. Four hundred and fifty acres of Tropical Fruits and Spices will be established on farms around the island, (an estimated 300 farmers will be involved). The crops to be introduced are grapefruit, passion fruit, soursop, tangerine, ortanique, nutmeg (mace) and clove.
