Project Objectives:
The objective of the project was to provide current information on land use in the vicinity of
the Molo-Olenguruone and the Litein-Bonnet roads in South Western Kenya, thereby
deriving baseline data for future studies to assess the impact of road upgrading . To produce
maps and area estimates of excisions in the local gazetted forests caused by farming.
