Project Objectives:
The mission visited Kenya in February 1989 from the FAO/World Bank Co-operative Programme for the purpose of preparing a development project for the forestry sector. The present Forestry III project funded by the World Bank and the Italian and Swiss Governments has been extended twice and lasts until the end of 1989. Forestry IV is not expected to begin until the end of 1990 and lasts for five years.
