Project Objectives:
The objectives of the project are: To survey neem trees for important insect and disease problems, indicating severity in Northern Nigeria, with particular reference to a newly reported vascular decline. To recommend practical action that could be taken locally and immediately to address problems. To make recommendations designed to improve control measures and indicate ways in which future pest losses could be minimised.
