Project Objectives:
To prepare an agricultural mechanisation strategy for the country covering the next 10 years. The strategy is to range from hand tools to tractors local fabrication and repair of equipment in both urban and rural areas. A series of mini projects were also designed to enable targets to be realised, in the light of the shortage of foreign exchange and the necessity of making such projects as self-sustaining as possible.
