Project Background

The project has developed in response to an increasing awareness, among government departments, NGO's and farmers, of the rate of deforestation and declining agricultural yields in the Apedwa area. The Apedwa YMCA has a decade of experience in working with the communities in the area and the project was designed in collaboration with a large number of groups.
